Band of Brothers

Today in my TV program I saw the second part of Band of Brothers. This episode took place at the time of the D-day in Normandy. Captain Winters and his section was parachuted inside the grounds in order to neutralize the enemy defenses. However, the problem was that its section did not succeed in reaching the point of fall, then they had to be parachuted much earlier than envisaged and Captain Winters found himself separated from his section. At the moment when he found his section, his superior ordered to him to attack and neutralize three Howitzers protected by Germans. To succeed with this attack several members of the Easy Company received medals such as bronze stars and silver stars and Captain Winters received The Distinguished Service Cross.

Band of Brothers

For the English assignment, I chose the TV program Band of Brothers. I chose it because it relates the story of the Easy Company during the Second World War and I like the fact that this is based on a true story and at the beginning of each program they show an interview with a member of the Easy Company. In this program I hope to learn how a man can survive this war. In this program there are too many people to enumerate but all the soldiers are considered brothers and they are commanded by Lieutenant Winters a great man who thinks of his men before even thinking of himself. The major conflict in this program is simple : it is the war between Germany and the rest of the world.
